Paper Submission

Please read in detail!

Authors are invited to submit their accepted paper in PDF format through EDAS as your “final manuscript” by 24 January 2018 at the latest. Please ensure that you use the same paper reference number as your original paper.

Please note that you must not make any changes to:

  • The title of the paper
  • The list of contributing authors
  • The list of references

Additionally, we cannot accept major changes to the accepted paper. The final version will be checked by the TPC and EuCAP reserves the right to consider the initial version in case of non-conformance to the above.

It is your responsibility that the author’s names in EDAS and the ones in the PDF of your paper are the same. If you need to notify us of an inconsistency, please email EuCAP2018@theiet.org by 24 January 2018. Please include your paper reference number and details of the requested change.

Author registration

At least one author of each paper must register to attend the conference. Please note that any one person can register a maximum of two papers in his/her name as “presenting author”.

"No shows" or lack of registration fee payment will result in your paper not being published in the online proceedings. This is valid for regular as well as convened session papers.

Papers that are not fully presented will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

Use of PDF eXpress®

The EuCAP 2018 organising committee are aware of some issues in uploading papers to the EDAS submission system. Should you encounter any difficulties please click on the help button at the top of the page and the link to contact EDAS staff to log your query. This is the quickest way to receive assistance.

>> The paper must be uploaded via EDAS® (paper submission opens on 1 July 2017)

It is highly recommended, and mandatory if you choose to publish your paper in IEEE Xplore, to check compliance of the manuscript files by using the PDF eXpress® tool, with the conference Id : 42763X

Be aware that creating an IEEE PDF eXpress™ account and converting or checking the source file may take some time and should not be done at the last minute. It is recommended to check possible compatibility problems early enough by uploading on EDAS a preliminary version. The manuscript can be replaced until the deadline*.

The corresponding track (regular, convened or invited) must be selected for each paper. For a convened session paper, a password will be given to the author by the conveners, in order to be able to finalise the submission.

During the uploading process, authors will be requested to categorise their paper in terms of TWO different conference topics and TWO different application tracks (see the Call for Papers). They will also have the possibility to apply for a EuCAP best student paper award or a thematic best paper award (measurements, propagation, antenna design and applications, EM and antenna theory), see the awards page for full details.

Copyright

Upon submission, the authors are requested to agree to this Copyright Form.

Accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore, unless otherwise stated by the author.
